If you’re coming from abroad, fly into Barcelona El Prat (BCN) - it’s the closest airport and well connected internationally. From there, it’s easy to reach the city or nearby coastal towns by train, bus, or rental car.

The finca is small, so all on-site rooms are reserved for immediate family. That said, there are plenty of great places to stay nearby - all within a 10–20 min drive and the venue is also not far from Barcelona:

• Barcelona — 30–40 min drive

  Perfect if you want to turn the wedding into a city trip

• Vilassar de Mar — 10–15 min drive

  Coastal, walkable, well-connected by train

• Mataró — 10–15 min drive

  Bigger town with beaches, shops, restaurants

• Cabrils — 10–15 min drive

  Green, peaceful, tucked into the hills

• Argentona — 15–20 min drive

  Historic, calm, with a small-town feel

We’ll share contact details for local shuttle and taxi services closer to the date if you’d like to organise a ride to / from the venue.

🚗 By car

The venue is about 30-40 minutes by car from central Barcelona. If you’re renting a car, we recommend Booking.com, Sunnycars or GoMore/Amovens.

🚆 By Train

You can take the Rodalies, the regional train, to Vilassar de Mar (~50 min from Barcelona Sants), then grab a 10–15 min taxi to the venue. Trains can sometimes run a bit late, so it’s a good idea to plan in some buffer time. Tickets don’t need to be purchased in advance, you can buy them directly at the station.

🚕 By Taxi or App

If you’re coming from Barcelona, rideshares like Uber, Cabify or Bolt usually work well for getting to the venue. For the way back, especially late at night, local taxis are the most reliable option - and may need to be booked in advance. If you’re staying in one of the coastal towns nearby, you’ll likely need a local taxi for both directions, as rideshare apps are limited in those areas.

Our dress code is summery casual chic - think dressing up for a summer evening dinner in the Mediterranean countryside: a little elegant, a little relaxed. We’re not going full black tie, but we’d love everyone to add a bit of a nicer touch. Wear something you feel great in and can enjoy the day and night in.

For women

Flowy dresses, jumpsuits, or elevated summer looks - midi to long lengths, all welcome. Flats, sandals or low heels are perfect. Just keep in mind the ceremony is on grass.

For men

You can wear a long or short-sleeve shirt paired with long trousers. You’re welcome to wear a suit if you’d like to dress up, a tie is completely optional. No need for a full tuxedo.

What to keep in mind

The ceremony will take place on a lawn, and the aperitivo will be on a gravel surface, so best to avoid stilettos or very delicate shoes. 

Evenings can get a little breezy in late September, so bring a light jacket or shawl just in case.

The fact that you’re making the trip to celebrate this moment with us truly means the world. We know many of you are traveling from far away, and honestly, your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for.

Also, la Mercè Festival in Barcelona will run from September 23 to September 27, with the official local holiday taking place on Thursday, September 24. This is Barcelona’s biggest celebration of the city, and features free concerts, traditional parades, and over 500 cultural activities across the city.

🎆 As highlights, there will be huge firework shows on:
- Thursday 25 at 22:00 at Platja del Somorrostro
- Sunday 27 at 22:00 at Font Màgica de Montjuïc

Keep this information in mind also in case you want to avoid crowds, since the festival is extremely popular in the city. Expect big crowds around Barceloneta, Plaza España, Ramblas de Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia.

We might plan a casual get-together the evening before the wedding, something super informal like a beach picnic or drinks at a local bar for those already in Barcelona or the towns around. It’s totally optional and not part of the official wedding schedule - just a chance to say hi and share a toast before the big day. More info to come!
